Fear not, dear Raeville readers, I'm still alive. I only haven't been blogging for the past few days because I've just returned back to the boarding house and I've been too busy to be bothered to get online and blog.

My first two days of being in Year 11 have been just fine. Everything feels so new, just like my very first day at school, which was last year. It feels like only yesterday when that happened. On my first day, I had Biology, Maths, Ancient History and two free/study periods. Everything was good. I suppose it's good because it has only been two days. We'll see how things turn out.

This weekend, we were not allowed to go out or leave the boarding house. It was the boarders weekend in program. It's this thing the mistresses organise to help build bonds between the boarders. They hold it every first weekend back. We watched King Kong on Friday, which was ridiculous because we were originally planned to go to some theatre to watch this famous mime show. King Kong was exhilarating! There were dinosaurs and huge-ass cockroaches and sucking thingamabobs! If King Kong was a human being, I'd have my eye on him. He's the sweetest ape around.

Yesterday (Saturday), a bunch of women came in to talk to us about girl confidence, how to use make-up properly and all that. It was pretty pointless, in my point of view. I didn't feel like it helped, but the women were awesome.

Today, we had a quick chapel service, and then we had a very tiring treasure hunt. During the treasure hunt, there was one point where we were running to our next destination and we were running into a barrier (just a chain strung from one pillar to the other). I saw one of my mates in front of my jump over the white chain, so me being the biggest smart ass in the world, thought, hey, I'll do that too, just so I can speed up. When I reached the white chain, I jumped. My left leg got over, but my right leg didn't. My face flew straight down into the hard, wet ground and then my hands, and then the rest of my body. My glasses became loose and I was in so much pain from my shoulders down to my pelvis. I didn't want to hold my team back, so being the great person I am, I reluctantly got up and kept running. The pain make me feel like I had broken a few ribs or dislocated something. It was terrible.

In the end, we came in second place for that treasure hunt. We had a trivia quiz, which we won, later. Then I went to take out some junior students. And now I'm here.

Other than everything that has happened for the past few days, it's been good. Sydney's hot, but lately it's been quite cold, which is good.

I don't have anything else I want to blog about. Things are good, and that's that.

Cheers.
PS. Hope to be back online soon. I seem to forget about the WWW.
